At a time when our country is rapidly achieving new heights of advancements in every field, the value of sports and sportsmanship becomes all the more imperative. The “JOY” of sports- the challenges, the endurance, the team spirit, the hurdles, the opportunities, the adrenaline rush all put together in the resonating heartbeats of the athletes that beat in unison with the theme of Colosseum. Each year, the sports event adds more magnanimity in terms of youth participation, the number of events and better international levels of infrastructure for its participants. Started as an Inter branch sports competition of Lucknow Public Schools and Colleges in the year 2016, it has created a niche over the years and has transformed into a State Level Championship. The year 2023 witnessed the participation of 50+ schools and 1,200+ athletes from across the state for this mega sports event. With the vision of identifying talents from grass root levels and nurturing them to such an extent so that they receive the proper trainings and represent India at the Olympics, gives our esteemed Mrs. Neha Singh, Director: Lucknow Public Schools & Colleges the motivation to organize this event in better capacities every time. It is her vision to bring forward the youth and engage them in fulfilling sports activities that would enhance their skills and bring laurels to our country.
